Aditya Khanna went to the local government school in Katihar where he proved to be a bright student. Besides studies, Aditya Khanna always participated in the extra curricular activities at state level. The school’s annual functions could never be complete without Aditya Khanna participation. At the time, when the facilities available at small towns where minimum, Aditya Khanna still managed to learn different musical instruments and became a good musician.

Besides his normal schooling, Aditya Khanna was interested in music from a very early age. Seeing their son’s interest towards music, Aditya Khanna parents started giving him music tuitions. Aditya Khanna father Pawan Khanna was his first guru who taught him the basics of music. Aditya Khanna also received a lot of inspiration from his mother who always encouraged him towards spiritualism.

Aditya Khanna joined the music Academy in Katihar at the tender age of 6 and won a gold medal for music at a local competition at the age of 7. Aditya Khanna started giving stage performances at the same time.

Aditya Khanna did his bachelor degree in Arts from the Municipal College in Katihar. By the time, Aditya Khanna was a known name in Katihar and local Ramlilas and Bhajan Kirtans have started observing Aditya Khanna as the most wanted singer.
